“Since released, the trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, presented by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday evening, has had a lot of people talking.

Many of the quotes from the trailer are reminiscent and derivatives of longer quotes that can be found in Stephenie Meyer’s New Moon.

That said, there are a number of quotes from the book that one might hope to see in the film.”

1. “You are only a senior once, might as well document the experience.” Alice Cullen
2. “So, as discussed, I am not allowed to wish you a happy birthday, is that correct?” Edward Cullen
3. “You want a nice stereo? Drive your own car.” Bella Swan
4. “Anyway, you don’t irritate the Volturi. Not unless you want to die – or whatever it is we do.” Edward Cullen
5. “Bella, the last birthday any of us had was Emmett in 1935. Cut us a little slack, and don’t be too difficult tonight.” Edward Cullen
6. “If I develop this film, will you show up in the picture?” Bella Swan
7. “… never, in the nearly four hundred years now since I was born, have I ever seen anything to make me doubt whether God exists in some form or the other. Not even the reflection in the mirror.” Carlisle Cullen
8. “Bella, you gave yourself a paper cut- that hardly deserves the death penalty.” Edward Cullen

In news sure to disappoint fans of the Twilight soundtrack, Paramore has told Billboard that they don’t think they’re interested in appearing on the New Moon soundtrack. According to Paramore drummer Zac Farro,Speaking to Billboard, the 18-year-old who celebrates his 19th birthday tomorrow, revealed:

“It was really fun to be a part of that, and great exposure, but I think Twilight was it for us. We don’t want to seem like we’re trying to get in every single movie they put out.” He adds: “We don’t want to be, like, the vampire house band.”

Paramore was up for an MTV Movie Award this weekend for the song “Decode” from the Twilight soundtrack, but they lost out to Miley Cyrus and her Hannah Montana movie.

Kristen Stewart took place in a gorgeous new photoshoot wearing some very seductive and sultry clothes yesterday by the Santa Monica pier.

Despite reports that Eclipse will begin filming in August, no exact date is set in stone yet. The filming schedule is “still being drafted” according to Lainey Gossip. Also according to Lainey, the following characters have been added to the casting process–

• Maria-”Maria found Jasper during the Southern vampire wars. At this point, Jasper was a major in the Confederate Army, and Maria was looking for humans that she could turn to vampires to create a newborn army, using the idea pioneered by Benito. After turning Jasper, she found that he was extremely useful to her, because he was able to control the emotions of the vampires around him, and make them work together. In Eclipse, Maria is described as a tiny brunette with a soft and musical voice that has a tendency to be sharp. She was able to control her thirst, though she still preyed humans’ blood. ” [1]
• Bree-”Bree was created by Victoria as part of her newborn vampire army to avenge James’ death. She never saw Victoria, as her “assistant”, Riley, was the one who told the newborns what to do. Bree was described as beautiful and slender with short dark hair to her chin and glowing blood red eyes. She was also very young, around the age of 15 and the height was around 5′1″ and 5′3″. When she screams Bree has a high, shrill voice.
• Royce King–”Royce King II was a human who lived during the time of the Great Depression. He was engaged to Rosalie Hale for a short period of time before being killed by her. He is perceived as being quite out-spoken but is liked by Rosalie because of her vanity.”

• Hi guys! It’s Twilight fan Ellie here. Little did I know when I arrived in Montepulciano, Italy to check out the filming of New Moon that I’d end up working as an extra on the set! Rober Pattinson Branded “Charming” by Harvey Weinstein

• Robert Pattinson has another high-profile fan — movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. “Rob Pattinson, I made him kiss girls in Cannes. He’s the most charming, wonderful young man,” said Weinstein, referring to the amfAR benefit in which the British hunk auctioned off two kisses to raise money for AIDS research. “He really cared about the charity, and that’s not an easy thing to do. That’s a sweet, sweetheart thing to do. And then we got two bids.” Harvey is also keen to cast the Twilight star in one of his movies — as a gangster. “I was talking to [author] Tom [Folsom] about who he wants to play Joe Gallo if you make this book into a movie.
